WHAT TO EXPECT

VINYASA FLOW

An energising class exploring a series of linked poses towards a beautiful place of stillness and relaxation. Vinyasa Flow offers an opportunity to build heat and challenge ourselves, moving freely between shapes and around the mat. An opportunity to discover what yoga is all about, and a workout for the body and the mind.

Suitable for all levels of experience - plenty of options on offer.

YOGA FOR RUNNERS

Strengthen the glutes and quads, improve balance and core stability, deepen the breathing then have a lovely stretch. Yoga is a great way to help tune into the body and potentially avoid running injuries. Sessions will include standing strength and mobility work and floor-based stretches (because they feel great) and will help you work on mental focus and tenacity.

Suitable for all levels of experience - plenty of options on offer.

HATHA YOGA

The term Hatha Yoga encompasses all physical forms of yoga. At the present time, however, it is used to signify a more gentle, less dynamic practice than you might find in a Vinyasa Flow class. That's not to say that we won't move! But this class will be at a slower pace, with more space to pause in between shapes. A truly expansive class where you can reconnect with yourself.

Suitable for all levels of experience - plenty of options on offer.

GENERAL

I truly believe that there is no such thing as 'not flexible enough' or 'not strong enough' to do yoga - we work with our bodies as we find them at any given moment and, as such, yoga is for everybody. If you have any queries or concerns, please don't hesitate to send me a message and I will happily go through anything in more detail.

 

But the best way to find out more is to give it a go - I would love to see you at one of my classes.

Mats and blocks are available to borrow at all group classes but please feel free to bring your own if you would prefer.

Classes at Yogis' Well-Being Centre and Pilates Body Shape are £12 each, or buy 5 for £55 (use within three months) or 10 for £100 (use within six months). Packs are transferable between Wednesday and Thursday classes.
